Song Review Ellie Goulding - Still Falling For You

Here's a new song by Ellie Goulding.

The artists who just put out her third album last year.
Now she's back with this potential hit!

And I'm here to review this song.

I'm always glad to hear music from Ellie Goulding.

I feel like she makes more high quality pop then most
people do. And her voice is beautiful in my opinion.

But was the song good? Or did it disappoint?

( Review starts here )

This song..... I gotta admit is really good!
Ellie sounds phenomenal here and I love the
piano tune. The lyrics are great as well.

Ellie is just really awesome here. I feel like
she is slightly going back to her old sound
instead of the more overproduced sound
from "Delirium" sure it's got overproduced
pop moments. But I feel like it's not as poppy
and in your face as songs like "On My Mind"
( a weaker Ellie Goulding song. Really repetitive,
Generic tune, it just screamed sellout to me )

Now I will admit, the Still Falling For You
gets repeated so many times and I'm sure
that will get old fast.

But other than that I'm really digging this track.
It's another solid Ellie Goulding entry.
Not sure if it's her best. But it's pretty good
anyways.

Overall, I'm thinking a 9/10. Solid pop song.
A recommendation for high quality pop music.
I think Ellie Goulding fans would enjoy.

Thanks for reading, more reviews on the way.

Album Review Jake Miller - Overnight

New Jake Miller music is here!

I was moderately anticipating this album.

But I checked it out and now I'm here to tell
you all what I thought of it.

So sit back Jakers, here we go. :)

What did I think of Overnight?

I thought this was a very good album!
I was very pleasently surprised with this album.

First of all, the vocals on this album are
Awesome!!

The beats are really catchy and high quality!

The worst part of the album is how short it is.
But of course that doesn't take away from the
album score.

Overall I liked every song here.

No complaints. Very high quality album.

Overall 10/10 !!! This guy in my opinion is like
a better, underrated version of Justin Bieber.
The beats are catchier, less bland, and I think
his voice is a little better!

Great Job Jake Miller ! Highly recommend for
Fans of Justin Bieber, Jake Miller, and electro-pop
beats that are catchy with awesome vocals.

Thank you for reading and I recommend you all
check my new pages.

Favorites: Overnight, Good Night, Could've Been
Me, Tell Me You Love It,
Least Favorites: Parade ( Still was good though )

Song Review Vidya Vidya - Safari Fruits

Hey guys.

Yeah I'm pretty sure you've never heard of this artist.
I haven't exactly heard of this guy either.

But you will now as I'm reviewing this song.

The song was requested by my friend Zach
he is a fellow blog reader. He doesn't comment a
lot but hopefully he will.

Overall I must say. I like the song.

Is it the best? No. But it's a solid track.
It's decent. Vocals? A bit repetitive. But
anyone looking for something new. Should listen
to this track.
Not much to say here.
The beat is pretty sick as well. It's catchy.

So overall, id say the song is good.
Not the Best But solid.

I'd say a 7/10 and a recommendation for any fan
of dubstep or Dance music.

Thanks to Zach Neace for recommending!

Song Review Tove Lo - Cool Girl

The new song from Tove Lo is here.

Just debuted the hot 100 a week or so ago.

Excited for this song, because Tove Lo I
think has some form of talent. Like when it
comes to making solid pop Music, she knows
What's she's doing!

But was this song any good?

Let's find out right now

Overall I think this is a good song.
It's pretty catchy. Got a nice beat and I love Tove Lo's
Voice here. When she sings let's not put a label on it!

That part is awesome!

Flaws? I feel like the chorus is a little too repetitive.
She sings I'm a I'm a cool girl I'm a cool girl
And the lyric delivery repetition comes off
Off putting.

Overall, the song is pretty good. Not the best, but is
Pretty good at least.

I'll say an 8/10 for Cool Girl! And a recommendation

Song Review Porter Robinson & Madeon - Shelter

Porter Robinson and Madeon return with this new song.
Just released Friday, it's pretty much brand new.

I'm a fan of these guys. So I was excited for this collab.
But was it worth the wait?

Well you're about to find out.

I'm not gonna try to hide it
This song is absolutely beautiful!!

One of the best eletronic songs of the year.

Really beautiful vocals and production
Especially in the second half when they add
more layering to the track making it even more
amazing!!

The lyrics are awesome the vocals are awesome
The melody is awesome. Everything here is just
Plain awesome!!!

10/10 for sure. Definitely recommend

Sorry for such a short review. But this song is so
Good, you need to close the review and go hear it!

Song Review OneRepublic - Kids

What's up Guys
OneRepublic is back with a new song
Called Kids!

Wherever I Go if you guys didn't recall,
In my opinion was a pretty solid pop song.

This song is a new entry in the book of
OneRepublic.

I'm still awaiting their album. I'm mildly
anticipating it. I feel like it could go either
way.
They could make a really good album, or
It could be some average filler.

But is this song good, or will the kids hate it ;)

Overall the song is pretty good!
It's catchy. Vocals are really good.

It's not necessarily the most original music
out there. Sounds similar to Wherever I Go
in parts.

It's got it's basic moments as well, but
overall OneRepublic knows how to make
A solid pop song.

Lyrics? Decent. Nothing outstanding.
At least there's nothing really repetitive.
I mean yeah the chorus repeats but I mean
like words that repeat.

Not much to say. It's a pretty good song.
Not the best by any means. But I will give
a recommendation as this is some of the better
Top 40 recently.

Overall an 8/10 Really Good!

Album Review Drake - Views

Wow I completely forgot to review this album.
Like I listened to it and then I was gonna review it
then forgot.

Now I relistened to it and am prepared to review
Views By Drake.

Yes this is old, but I've stated before I do review
old albums too just for people to know.

But is this album good?

Well I've got a reason unfotunately why I forgot
about this album. It's very dull.

Almost every song is the same formula.
Basic beat + Drake's alright yet slightly monotone
vocals = about everything on views.

The songs sound very underdone for the most
part. Very disappointed in views.
Drake sounds uninspired, like he knows
he could put out anything and people would
Love it!

That doesn't cut it for me. The album is so
Mediocre.

One Dance is a good song. But it's just that
one little charmer in an extremely dull album.

Not much to say it's forgettable and bland.

Not neccisarily a bad record, but the production
is very lackluster and just so watered down.

Drake fans, you might like this. But it's more
Pop/R&B than Rap so beware

Non-Drake fans ... Listen to his early work first

This album gets a 5/10. Forgettable.

Thanks you guys. Please share the blog with your
friends.

Song Review The Chainsmokers/Halsey - Closer

The Chainsmokers are back with their next big hit !

I'm here to review the newest song by the Chainsmokers.

With Top 10 hits including Roses and Don't Let Me Down
The former being kind of bland in my opinion and
the latter just having a lazy drop, it's up to Closer to
try and prove me wrong about The Chainsmokers' music.

The Chainsmokers honestly have had very dull,
uninteresting music up until this point.
#Selfie was horrible. The song Let You Go
was very generic.

I just overall am not a fan of The Chainsmokers.
Their music is okay. But what bothers me is that
a lot of dance artists don't get their songs on the radio
anymore. And it's unfortunately The Chainsmokers
this year have ruled the EDM Radio scene this year.
With their mediocre music.

With that tangent aside, what do I think of their newest
entry?

Well, it's okay. It features Halsey.
Which she sings pretty well there.

The song isn't too bad. It's not exactly great.
The drop is very slow and poppy.
Disappointed there.

The worst part of the song is that it's basic.
It will most likely get old and get very
Mediocre. Very bland and annoying.

For now I think the song is decent.
FAR from the best of EDM
I don't know why it's number 1.

But it's acceptable at least it's tolerable

I'll say 6/10 it's a decent Chainsmokers song.
But I know they have more potential than these
Basic radio songs.

Album Review Hey Violet - Brand New Moves EP

The newest EP from a band I actually have never
heard of. But at this blog, we're all about trying new
music out.

So I decided to check this EP out.

Featuring 5 songs. Three, and two remixes of one of
them.

Was this EP worth my time ?

You're about to find out. Now!!!

Overall this EP is okay.

Right off the bat I will say. Brand New Moves is a solid
pop song. Pretty dang catchy. Sounds slightly familiar
to Can't Feel My Face by the Weeknd.

The other two songs? Nothing special. Pretty Mediocre.
Disappointing. Could've been better.
Just some disappointing cookie cutter crap.

Fuqboi is the worst track here kinda annoying actually.
Pure is okay, but it's just ehh at best.

Overall the title track is good. But the other two
are throwaways.

Side note. The Remixes are okay, but nothing
to bring up this album. Because it's the same song.
Just remixed

Can't see this doing well in the mainstream, it's surprising
how hard it is to get a hit in the top 40 right now.

Fan of bubblegum pop? I'd recommend you'll like it.
Especially the single. Not a fan of bubblegum pop,
Get the single and that's it.

This gets a 4/10. Disappointed.

Thanks for reading. More reviews on the way.

Album Review Suicide Squad Soundtrack

I'm here reviewing the Suicide Squad Soundtrack.
I actually haven't seen the movie yet.

But I did manage to pick up the SS CD.

Is the soundtrack any good???

Well you'll have to read to find out.

Let's see what I thought of this

Now!!!

I rarely ever review soundtracks or buy them.
But I think I'm gonna start doing that.

This album is decent for a soundtrack.
The album starts out awesome with songs
like Purple Lamborghini, Sucker For Pain,
Heathens, Gangsta and more.
There are some really catchy songs here with
lots of big name guest appearances.

The song with Action Bronson is great too!
And I was a little annoyed that they put
You don't own me on there because it's old
and not even that good. But I will say
It sounds much better here in the soundtrack
because it just fits well here.

But unfortunately this album has a downhill point.
I'd say about the Eminem song, the album starts to
decline. The Eminem song is okay, but I always
have found eminem's flow kind of annoying.
He's pretty overrated in my opinion.

Then most of the second half is pretty slow and
Boring. Pretty Mediocre second half.

There's Wreak Havoc which is alright, not great.

The Grimes' song isn't even very good at all.

Panic! At The Disco's song is okay, but very dull.

The war song is mediocre.

Fortunate Son is actually pretty good.

I started a joke is Meh.

Overall I'd give 5/5 for the first half because
it starts the soundtrack off awesomely.

But a disappointing 2/5 for the second half.
It's very mediocre, very basic, and forgettable.

Overall, above average for a soundtrack.
But still it's only decent in my opinion.

I'll give it a sold 7/10

Decent, but not great.

Top 20 Countdown 8/13/2016

Welcome Back to Top 20!
The 20 songs I loved the most this week!
Let's kick this countdown off and not waste any time.

But before we do here are the songs leaving this
week.
Tiësto/John Legend - Summer Nights
Coldplay - Yellow
Maroon 5 - If I Never See Your Face Again
Walk The Moon - Aquaman
Adam Lambert - Music Again
Justin Bieber - Purpose
Flume/Vic Mensa - Lose It
Flume/AlunaGeorge - Innocence

Alright let's get to the list
The Countdown
20. Magic!/Sean Paul - Lay You Down Easy (-3)
Good, but haven't listened to much.
Remember it could still jump back up
And even if it leaves any song could re-renter.

19. Afrojack/Ty Dolla $ign - Gone (DEBUT)
A Brand New song just released Friday.
A really catchy Afrojack song. I feel like
if he keeps this up, he will be improving
greatly and I might even learn to like him.

18. Walk The Moon - Up 2 U (-5)
Getting Old to be honest. Still good but I can't
see this being on for much longer.

17. Tiësto/Zac Barnett - A Town Called
Paradise (DEBUT) Probably the best song
off of That album. Super catchy. Great vocals.
You'll be humming the drop to the song
I'm sure of it.

16. Flume/Little Dragon - Take A Chance (-6)
Awesome song, yet haven't listened to it lately.
Still love the beat to the song.

15. Coldplay - Midnight (DEBUT)
Not the best Coldplay Song by any means.
But it's a very beautiful song.

14. DJ Snake/Mr Hudson - Here Comes The Night
(DEBUT)
If you didn't read my review, I won't spoil
anything. But I'll just say this song is a standout
for me.

13. All Time Low - Missing You (-11)
I really enjoyed listening to future hearts, but
as my interest for the rest of that album grew,
my interest for this song decreased.

12. Maroon 5 - Not Falling Apart (+4)
Awesome song, very catchy and one of
Maroon 5's Best in my opinion.

11. Lil Wayne/Wiz Khalifa/Imagine Dragons
/Logic/Ty Dolla $ign/X Ambassadors -
Sucker For Pain (DEBUT)
Really catchy and an awesome song.
Nothing much to say.

10. Jon Bellion - All Time Low (-9)
Decline in AirPlay over the week.
Still great, but you know the drill.

9. Zara Larsson - Lush Life (DEBUT)
I just realized a week or so ago how little
of music by Female artists have been on my
list. Idk. But yeah this song is really
catchy. And it's pretty good. Definitely
Recommend

8. Madeon/Kyan - You're On (DEBUT)
Awesome Song, Very catchy very good.
Amazing vocals, and the piano/eletronic melody
definitely grants this song some replay value.

7. Steve Aoki/Boehm/Walk The Moon - Back
2 U (-4)
Decline in AirPlay. Not old yet though.

6. Coldplay - White Shadows (+1)
Awesome Song and one of the few that actually
Jumped. Yeah be happy if a song you like jumps,
Because if it does that means the song is really
sticking with me.
Songs never usually do that often.

5. Frank Ocean - Thinkin Bout You (DEBUT)
Really awesome vocals. Found out about this
because of the hype for his new album.
The song is pretty good, although I wonder
why they would put a pop beat instead of actual
Instruments because it doesn't really fit, although
I do like it.

4. Snakehips/ZAYN - Cruel (+15)
After a massive drop I grew back into this.
This is so catchy. It is fantastic.

3. Coldplay - A Head Full of Dreams (+12)
Speaking of catchy songs, one of the catchiest
Coldplay songs. For a real good reason.

2. Calvin Harris/ Rihanna - This Is What You Came
For (+2)
Awesome. Definitely my song of the summer.

1. Coldplay - Talk (+1)
Listen to the song one time and tell me it's not
the catchiest thing ever !!!

There is the list.

Was originally supposed to be out last week.
But it got postponed due to homework and while
I was working on it, my girlfriend was texting me
and yeah.... Never got done until now

Thanks for reading guys!!

Album Review All Time Low - Future Hearts

I'm here to review the latest ( not necessarily new
anymore ) album by Alternative band, All Time
Low. I just saw this album on sale and decided to
Pick it up. Because I've heard some songs from ATL
and they weren't bad.

But did I enjoy this album???

You'll have to read this review to find out.

Before we start. I have an announcement
For now I will be suspending the use of the
color codes for the rating.

But just remember
0-3 is Terrible/ Bad 4-7 is Average/Decent
And 8/10 is Good/Perfect.

Now on to the Review of Future Hearts by
All Time Low.

In general I thought the album was pretty good.
Some fans criticized this for being too poppy.
But really it's a lot less poppy than some other music.

I mean heck, at least it has actual guitars and drums
and stuff.

I do like about every song here. There's just some
kinda charm ATL has that just makes me want to
like their music.

My favorite songs from the album have to be
Something's Gotta Give, Missing You, The Edge of
Tonight, and Tidal Wave.

The Vocals are pretty solid overall and the music is
too.

Negatives ? Well one thing I will say is that the music
Isn't exactly original. It has been done before.
Is that bad, no.
But it does take away from the record
a little bit.

But I'm glad there are a few tracks that aren't just the
same pop-punk rif and a radio-friendly chorus.

So overall I did enjoy the album.
Despite the Music not being original, there's nothing
bad here.

Future Hearts gets a 9/10!! Really enjoyed

SiriusXM Weekend Countdown 8/6/2016

Welcome back to The Weekend Countdown.
I say welcome back, Because I used to do it.
But then sorta lost interest in doing the countdown
and wanted to do Album/Song Review

Before we get to this week's fresh 45
Here are the songs leaving this week.

45. G-Eazy/Bebe Rexha - Me Myself, and I (#45)
This song is getting pretty old. And I know
it's not on probably all charts anymore.
It was a decent song at first but now I don't really
care for it
44. Meghan Trainor - No (#38)
This song is absolute trash in my opinion.
It's very bland very basic very annoying.
Completely overrated.
43. Grace - You Don't Own Me (#41)
Boring. Uninteresting. And very old.
42. Nick Jonas/Tove Lo - Close (#27)
The song is very old. Plus it was just Average
to start. It is too basic.
41. Selena Gomez - Hands To Myself (#43)
I didn't even like this one at first. And
it's worse now. It's too bland. And a little
boring.
40. Ruth B. - Lost Boy (#42)
Dull, mediocre vocals and just very old.
39. Taylor Swift - New Romantics (#23)
I don't exactly hate this one yet. It's just
starting to push it a little
38. DNCE - Cake By The Ocean (#30)
I liked this at first, but it's so old and overplayed.
Should not be here along with quite a few
others.
37. AJR - I'm Not Famous (DEBUT)
I'm extremely surprised this song got here.
It isn't even popular anywhere.
Plus the song sucks too. Very mediocre.
Very annoying. It's not very good to be quite
honest.
36. James Bay - Let It Go (#32)
Good song. Just starting to get old.
35. Fifth Harmony - Work From Home (#35)
Super old. Super repetitive. Super bland.
Just not good music.
34. Lukas Graham - 7 Years (#40)
Very mediocre. Very bland. More of the same.
This is another gimmicky pop group trying to
have a message.
33. Selena Gomez - Kill Em' With Kindness (#33)
Although the drop is kind of bland, her vocals and
everything else is pretty good. It's sad majority of
the bottom of the countdown is almost always trash.
32. OneRepublic - Wherever I Go (#28)
Pretty good song. I like the song. It's kind of
catchy. And It's a high quality pop song in
my opinion.
31. Ariana Grande - Into You (DEBUT)
The song is good. Not her best. But it's a
damn good song. It's pretty catchy and
Ariana has a beautiful voice.
30. X Ambassadors - Unsteady (#37)
The song is okay. But I can't help but thinking
this song wouldn't be a hit if it didn't repeat
the chorus. Plus it's very basic. Barely any
Melody. Very average in my opinion
29. One Direction - History (#29)
Just when I thought we were on a string of at
at least decent songs, we get this.
This song is so old and overplayed.
Very mediocre.
28. Jordan Fisher - All About Us (#39)
I think this song suffers from a lack of
identity, like its an okay song. But it's no
different then any other mainstream pop
Song
27. Panic! At The Disco - Victorious (#12)
Eh it's okay, but old.
26. Symon - Say (#25)
Ugh. Another very generic, annoying, really
bland pop song. NEXT!!!
25. Jacob Whitesides - Lovesick (#36)
This song is actually really good.
Love the vocals and it's a pretty catchy song.
24. Kent Jones - Don't Mind (#15)
It's okay. It's just a pretty inoffensive, lazy
Pop/Rap crossover song.
23. All Time Low - Missing You (#24)
Pretty Good! Great vocals, nice melody.
It's a keeper
22. Lukas Graham - Mama Said (#19)
Ugh more mediocre garbage from Lukas Graham.
God I hope they are just a one album band because
man I can't take such mediocrity.
21. 5 Seconds of Summer - Girls Talk Boys (#20)
Kind of basic. Not much of the punk sound from
their other music. Sounds more basic pop.
Also sounds like something DNCE would make.
20. Demi Lovato - Body Say (#31)
Pretty solid pop song. Demi is a good singer.
19. The 1975 - The Sound (#26)
The chorus is okay, but the rest of the song
is where it gets awesome.
18. Drake/WizKid/Kyla - One Dance (#21)
Pretty good for now, can't imagine it being green
for long tho.
17. DNCE - Toothbrush (#22)
Was great at first, but starting to become
Uninteresting.
16. Mike Posner/SeeB - I Took A Pill In Ibiza (#9)
Still a damn good song. I'm sad it's dropping.
15. Twenty One Pilots - Stressed Out (#18)
OMG this is so annoying! Very overplayed
14. Meghan Trainor - Me Too (#17)
This is one of the worst songs of the year so far.
It's extremely annoying, extremely overrated
Very watered down. Very bland.
Everything that's wrong with pop music.
13. The Summer Set - Figure Me Out (#16)
Mediocre just a space filler. Sounds very
Styrofoamy.
12. Timeflies - Once In A While (#13)
Could use more bass. Not Timeflies'
Best.
11. Charlie Puth/ Selena Gomez - We Don't
Talk Anymore (#8)
Pretty basic. Not bad. But it's starting to get
on my nerves because it's kinda Annyoing.
10. P!nk - Just Like Fire (#4)
Very generic forgettable and just Meh.
9. Calvin Harris/Rihanna - This Is What You Came
For (#11)
This is a fantastic dance song. Yes it's repetitive.
But the production I find to be awesome. And
Calvin always knows how to get the party startedz
8. Adele - Send My Love ( To Your New
Lover ) (#14)
Meh pretty mediocre. It's just not that great of a song.
7. Shawn Mendes - Treat You Better
Not Bad. Pretty Good. For now I'm really
enjoying this song.
6. Sia/Sean Paul - Cheap Thrills (#5)
Old. It's still very basic. And slightly boring.
5. Ariana Grande - Dangerous Woman (#6)
As much as I love Ariana, this song is
really old and now it's just not that good.
4. The Chainsmokers/Daya - Don't Let Me
Down (#4)
3. Twenty One Pilots - Ride (#2)
Not the best song by TØP, but it's
decent. Idk why everyone loves TØP.
Because these radio hits of theirs are very
average. The only ones I've likesd
So far are Tear In My Heart and Heathens
2. Daya - Sit Still Look Pretty (#3)
Getting old. Was catchy at first, but pretty
Old now.
1. Justin Timberlake - Can't Stop The Feeling (#1)
I still like the song. It's pretty good still.

Song Review Afrojack/Ty Dolla $ign - Gone

Afrojack is back.

An artist I criticized heavily for having extremely generic
music. Which I still stand by that.
But to be fair, many artists have music worse than him.

To me, why I hated Afrojack so much back then
was because it was back when I was first getting into
music like I am now. I never have heard that generic
of music before. And it got me really disappointed
and upset.

Forget The World has slightly grown on me I will
admit, but the album is truly generic and rather
underdone.

He returns now with a song featuring Ty Dolla $ign
It's listed as Hip Hop/Rap on iTunes. It's still
in my opinion a dance song, because honestly
A lot of dance songs lately are more pop.

But anyways on to the actual song.
Did I like this song.

I gotta admit the song is good. Ty Dolla $ign sounds
pretty good. The music isn't that bad either.

Lyrics are solid, although overdone. But I don't
really go to these songs for the lyrics.

Not much to say. But overall, I find this a solid
song that could have a shot at being a hit !!

I wouldn't say it's the best song ever, but it's
actually pretty good. I might even buy it.

Overall an 8/10

And Afrojack, make a good second album and
you might earn a fan.

Thanks for reading guys.

Album Review DJ Snake - Encore

Hello everyone, welcome to my album review
of the Debut Album by DJ Snake

The album is titled "encore"

It is the number 1 dance album currently on iTunes
and in the top 10 albums on iTunes.

But did this album make me want an encore ?
You're about to find out.

So hold on tight, because here comes the review!

I wasn't a huge fan of DJ Snake before this
album. His music was just okay for me mostly.
Now to answer the question.

Did this album make me want an encore?

Well...... Kinda

There were songs on this album I liked.
The intro was really good. Middle was
decent. Parts of Sahara were good.
Talk is good.

And a few others here and there. Overall
not exactly great, but I will say there are
Some decent songs here.

For flaws with this album, well I do have to
say there definitely is some problems here.

Firstly, while it does a nice job of combining a
lot of elements ( Dance [DUH] Pop, Hip Hop/Rap
and other stuff, it's pretty hit or miss on actually
working.

And that's not necessarily on the collaber's part
Some of the beats on this album are really
kind of annoying to be honest ( my opinion ).

And yes, I know you DJ Snake fans will be all,
"If you don't like it, don't listen to it. His music
is lit!!"
First off, this is just my opinion.
And second off I'm well aware about the type
of music all these artists I review make, and I
judge fairly based on my opinion.

Some of the album has more of a mainstream
pop appeal. The pop songs here? Not the best,
but are pretty decent. Not too bland, nice beats.
And I will say, the Justin bieber song, is much
better than Cold Water. I was very disappointed
in Major Lazer for that song.

The beats are danceable I'll give the album that,
And it's a decent album. Tried to like every song,
But honestly I don't.

I think a 7/10.
Will work for this album.
If I were rating this specifically based on
my enjoyment of the album, it would've gotten
a 5 or so. But I can say, if you're a fan of DJ
Snake, you'll like this album. For me,
this wasn't my cup of tea.

I will still recommend this for fans of DJ Snake
