Album Review #38 Chris Brown - Royalty
Here's the new Chris Brown Album review
His new album dropped December 18 and I'm here
To say whether or not I think it's good
And well let's see if it is
Here's the review
The album....... Is just another forgettable throwaway
And a disappointment
Last year he dropped X, and while it wasn't the best album
Ever. It still had some great songs on it. This one is different
It tries to mix his R&B sound with EDM music.
Unfortunately it's that Pop-EDM kind of music. What I mean
By that i mean it's not EDM its like electronic pop music.
And also, it's pretty generic as well. Yeah Chris brown
Has some good vocals, but there's nothing fantastic here at all
Mediocre at best
I'll give it a 4/10

I apologize greatly for the lack of getting the countdown

Here's my New Song Reviews
Starting with the first and definitely the worst
We have S.O.B I can't really remember this song well.
But what I do remember of it, it's just laughable at best,
This song is awful. It's nice if you want a laugh, but if
you're looking for actual quality, then look somewhere
else.
Next Adele's When We Were Young
This song is Meh. It's boring. Sure Adele has a good
voice but there's nothing unique about at least half the
songs on 25, this one included. It's honestly just
generic ballads with the charm being her voice.
The song isn't bad but I don't think it's that great.
Next, Derulo's Get Ugly
This song is iffy. It has it's good parts. But it's also
pretty annoying. I can see this song being bad soon.
Now for the only Good Debut this week
I Know What You Did Last Summer
This is a catchy and fun song with a good chorus
and some decent vocals. Solid track.
Blurbs
• Someone tell me why S.O.B. had to debut instead of
Coldplay - Adventure of A Lifetime first of all
That is a much better song. And second, it's way more
popular than S.O.B.
• Adele's Hello is number 1 again. What's new. NEXT!
• The Top 10 this week is pretty Sub-Par.
• WHAT IS LITTLE MIX - BLACK MAGIC
STILL DOING IN THE TOP 10
• Same Goes to Walk The Moon - Shut Up And Dance
and Taylor Swift - Wildest Dreams
• Hopefully The Weeknd - In The Night can hit number 1
The Weeknd has a great voice and he knocks it out of the park
with this one.
Overall Mediocre Week

2015 A Year In Review
Well this is the first year of my blog so I now have to
cover the year of music as a whole
So what did I think???
Well I thought the year overall had some good music
In fact it had some great music.
Sure it had quite a bit of mediocre/bad/horrible/bland
Music, but looking past that I would say it was a solid
Year for music.
The siriusxm playlist was good too there were some great
Songs on there this year
Here's my top 5 Hit songs of the year
5. Life Of Dillon - Overload It was on hits 1 early in the
year and was one of the first great songs I heard this year
4. Coldplay - Adventure Of A Lifetime a beautiful layered song
that is just great and wonderful
3. Marlon Roudette - When The Beat Drops Out
Okay this isn't a huge hit in the US but it was a good
Song and it was on the countdown it's great
2. Maroon 5 - This Summer's Gonna Hurt Like A Motherf**ker
Despite being a controversial song for maroon 5 fans, this song
Is catchy and fun it's not the most meaningful or best maroon 5
Song but it's really really good and awesome
1. Adam Lambert - Ghost Town This Song is just Amazing
The beat is catchy and Adam Lambert is probably the best
Male vocalist of the year It's awesome
Okay I'm going to end the post right here but I'll be
Back with 2015 Year in Review Part 2!!!!!!
I'm going to work on this weeks countdown now
Hope you enjoy :)

Album Review #37 Armin van Buuren - Embrace
I am here to review Trance/EDM DJ Armin van Buuren's
new album Embrace
I recently discovered his singles on SiriusXM's BPM
station (Station 51) and I found his singles
Strong Ones and Another You Both of which I'll be
reviewing when I talk about this album
Is it good????
(REVIEW)
This album is a pretty big disappointment
The beats in this album are obviously recycled and
sound generic to me. It's just another EDM album in
my opinion. I just don't really care for this album
The best tracks are Strong Ones and Another You
They are pretty much the only two worth buying
And they're not perfect. They're good but not great.
Everything else is average at best. Bland and generic
drops, and nothing you haven't heard before in the EDM
community.
This album is really nothing but potential thrown down the
toilet. Which is a huge shame because I love EDM, but it's
getting harder to find quality EDM with artists shoving out
these generic Effortless albums.
Extremely Disappointed
I'll give it a 4/10

Album Review #36 Coldplay - A Head Full Of Dreams
Hey guys I'm here to review A Head Full Of Dreams
I've been waiting for this album for almost two months
I'm a Coldplay fan so I have been waiting for this album
But did this album meet expectations ???
(REVIEW)
Well for the most part this album is pretty good
Adventure of a lifetime is probably the best song
It's a fantastic song and really great
Also Fun (feat. Tove Lo) is a really great track and
my second favorite
And just about every other song is good as well
Unfortunately, there are two little one minute or
So tracks that are disappointing only because
They could've been swapped for better songs but
unfortunately fill up two tracks on this 11 track album.
Other than that, the album is pretty good and I
recommend it.
Overall this album deserves an 8/10

The Weeknd - In The Night is a great song.
What really makes it special is The Weeknd's vocals in the song
are really good.
DNCE - Cake By The Ocean Is really catch and a great comeback
For Joe Jonas.
Taylor Swift - Out Of The Woods is a good song
I'll probably get sick of it after awhile though.
Blurbs
• Drake - Hotine Bling is at #4 on iTunes and is already
Leaving here?????
• Same with Justin Bieber's sorry it's #2 on iTunes and only
#26 here
• Walk The Moon - Shut Up And Dance is still in the top 5
(Sigh)
• I just want to review a song that I didn't get to review
Halsey - New Americana is honestly boring and kind of
bland it's a nice attempt and not a bad song. She has a
decent voice, but overall mediocre and forgettable.
• Why didn't Coldplay - Adventure Of A Lifetime Debut this
Week??? It's number 7 on iTunes
• The Blog is almost to 5,000 PAGEVIEWS
Thanks guys I know that's not huge yet but it will be
Stay tuned for more posts

New Entrants

Song Review #15 Coldplay - Adventure Of A Lifetime
I'm here to review the single from Coldplay's A Head
Full of Dreams.
I'll definetly be reviewing this album when it comes out
Because I like Coldplay so yeah.
But is this new single good or s**t?
Well let's find out.
Review time
I really love this song
The song has a really unique tune to it and is jam packed
With energy and just awesome.
Coldplay always mixes it up. I was listening to their older
albums ( I'll be reviewing later ) and they are different.
Which is good because the single here is really great
The lyrics aren't the best but I could forgive that because
the melody is catchy and just perfect.
Maybe It's just me but I found this a really great track
Adventure of a lifetime gets a 10/10
Hopefully the album is good
I'll be reviewing it (or at least try to) on December 4th.

Song Review #14 DVBBS - We Were Young
Another DVBBS track
Well yeah this one is a little different (spoiler)
But yeah it doesn't mean it'll be bad. It could be.
But uhh enough of that
Let's get into the review
Review Time
Never Leave and White Clouds were Great.
Unfortuneatly I found We Were Young a disappointment.
The buildup with the piano melody is actually excellent.
Very melodic powerful and awesome.
After that you get this repetitive part where they go
We were young we were dumb we would do it all again
And it's really repetitive and annoying
And then a disappointing drop as well.
I wish they'd use the drop that was from the buildup
But whatever
I'm mixed on this song.
I'll give it a 6/10

Song Review #13 DVBBS - White Clouds
The second track I've heard from DVBBS
Let's just keep this intro short
You know what lets just get right into the review
Here we go
I'm gonna review white clouds
Let's review
The song is Good. It's another solid track from DVBBS.
Solid buildup and for the most part I found the drop good
Too. Vocals were decent too.
I didn't find it as good as Never Leave but it's pretty close
I just think never leave had a better drop
I'll give white clouds a 9/10

Song Review #12 DVBBS - Never Leave
This week I discovered EDM group DVBBS on SiriusXM's
BPM station and decided to look them up I found some music
that I will review later
But i thought I'd start with the song that got me started on
DVBBS
I'm here to review Never Leave
It's probably their newest song I think
It just came out last month
Let's review
I think this song is great.
Great Vibe really optimistic vibe.
Also the vocals are decent and the drop is pretty good
I also love the little noises in the background as well
This is an overall fantastic EDM track and id recommend
it for anyone who likes Melodic EDM. It's not a banger.
But it's good for what it is
Pretty damn good song 10/10

Song Review #11 Rebecca Black - Friday
Now I know what you're thinking
OH GOD! JUST WHEN I THINK THE WORLD HAS
FORGOTTEN THIS AWFUL SONG, SOMEONE
BRINGS IT BACK UP. - Average Friday Hater.
But bear with me. Here's why I chose to review this song
I've heard numerous bad things being said about this song
So tonight I went and listened to the whole song.
Now I have my opinion ready.
I'm not being another one of those generic "Friday Sucks" people
But this song has numerous problems
Firstly and foremost,
The vocals on this song are ATROCIOUS!
I mean seriously it just sounds like she's trying to butcher
Something instead of actually sing. It's extremely annoying.
Secondly,
The lyrics,
To me ( just my opinion) these just sound like generic
Lyrics about partying on Fridays. Lazy ones too, because
In parts of this song you can tell this song is completely
forced and it's extremely noticable.
Thirdly
THE FACT THAT THIS WAS EVEN POPULAR
Now I'm not meaning that in a way because I hate it
I mean this was probably a huge hit back in 2011.
Everyone knew this song. Many people hated it but
also people liked it too so yeah it was a hit
Honestly I feel like this was extremely forced.
In fact this is probably what happened.
Some record company caught on to her for whatever
reason I don't know. Then decide she should be famous
for a song. Then they send her in and realize either she can't
song or her voice isn't what they wanted it to be for the song.
So throw in a lot of grating auto-tune and some extremely
Generic uninspired and cliche lyrics about middle school
and partying on Friday plus a bubblegum generic beat
And you get what is considered by some to be one of If not
the worst song ever
Honestly I think the best part of the song is the beat. Although
Generic and cliche, it's a little bit catchy
Nothing else positive though.
Friday gets a 1/10
Absolutely Terrible song

Album Review #35 Adele - 25
The new album by Adele is here finally Sorry i couldn't post my keyboard on my phone is
Acting up and still is so yeah
Anyways Adele's new album 25 is topping the charts
And I'm seeing it in like every store there's like at least
50 copies there with posters and signs and stuff
This album is big
But is it good? Well I guess you'll have to read to find out
Review
I know I'm going to get some flack for this but well
It's...... Decent
Yes Adele super fans will be mad that I called
her album only decent but I'll explain why
First the positives
First of all more positives then negatives
Adele has a good voice.
She uses real instruments in her songs
Most of the songs on her album are at least
Alright.
And there is quite a bit of soul in her songs
Negatives
Honestly if you want to do an album with all
ballads then you better make sure you know how to
Do it.
And while, quite a few of the ballads are acceptable,
Others sound well... The same.
And also at times her voices hits these points where I
Find it actually annoying.
There are a few great tracks some decent ones and
a few good ones
Overall the quality range on this album ranged from
Average to Great
That's not too bad.
Actually I personally think this album is good
It's just not perfect 10 good for me anyways.
I'll give it an 8/10

Special Post: Why I Love Maroon 5 So Much
For those who read my blog on the weekend countdown, a Maroon 5
song always is in Green its Because well yes the song is good
But also because M5 is my favorite band
But this post is about how Maroon 5 became my favorite band.
It may be a little lengthy but for fellow Maroon 5 fans
This post is for you
I've always thought maroon 5 always made solid hit songs
But back in 2011-2013 before I was a major critic that I am now
I only knew maroon 5's newer hits at the time ( Misery,Moves Like
Jagger, One More Night, and Payphone etc. )
But it wasn't til Early this year that I truly realized how
good this band really is.
I searched Maroon 5 on iTunes and along with their new hits,
was Maroon 5's older music as well and I thought well
Let's just check out all their albums
Chronologically first is Songs About Jane.
I listened to the whole thing and fell in love with about half the songs on
there at first listen (the other half I loved later.) The album was amazing
I guess I was just fascinated by how good real instruments sounded.
Because of how overproduced today's music is ( not using as an
insult just stating ) the album on iTunes is has pretty good reviews
And honestly Without Songs About Jane, the band wouldn't be
as loved or as popular as they are, or at least this album was.
THIS ALBUM IS AMAZING
Next Sophomore release, It Won't Be Soon Before Long
As much as fans dissed this album at first for not
having quite exactly the same sound as SAJ, honestly
I think that was a great idea to mix things up a little.
And sure there are still Moments of SAJ in here, but
Overall there's a different tone, and I think it works
very well. Whatever style they choose, I think Maroon
5's Music always has this little charm to it.
I was also very pleased with this album. I think it is just
about as quality as SAJ. Maybe SAJ is a tiny bit better
But they're both amazing
Third we have Hands All Over
This album is very different from both of the previous two
Both in sound and in feel. Honestly as much as
impressed as I am with the growth of the band, I honestly
didn't think this album is as good as the previous two
Maybe it's just the vibe. Or that it was produced by
Different people. The album was still good though.
Plenty of good songs. Just not Maroon 5's best that's all.
But Kudos to songs like Misery,Don't Know Nothing,
Give A Little More, and Moves Like Jagger.
Fourth we have Overexposed
This album is..... Very different
At first this album in my opinion.... Sucked.
I criticized this album at first for having pop dance beats
Instead of the actual guitars and drums they once had.
Also I found the lyrics throughout awkward.
After I heard the song Tickets thought I thought
This is a really good song. Which made me think
There is good to be found on Overexposed
And to give it another chance.
Honestly after I relistened a few more times, more
and more songs grew into me and I love every song on
This album now. It's a very good album. It's just so catchy
and different that I like it now. Nothing much to say but
give it a chance and you'll like it
Finally we have V
V is the fifth album by Maroon 5. The hit song Maps got
me excited for this one. It was really catchy and I found
That a great song. The album has a lot in common with
Overexposed and a lot different.
They both use pop sounds. But instead V is more of
A love album. Anyways at first the album was kinda
Meh to Me. Maybe just because I let too many reviews
Influence my opinion.
But Adam still sings flawlessly and it's so catchy.
Maroon 5 will definitely always be one of my favorites

New Entrants
There could've been a worse Re-Entry song
But there could've been better instead of
That's How You Know
Drake - Hotline Bling honestly in quality is not very
good but I like the song because it's kind of a party
Rap song with The Trap beat and everything
I doubt this will stay green but for now it is.
Blurbs
~ Adele hit number 1! How predictable.
~ Thinking Out Loud is getting ridiculous but
Honestly I don't want it to leave because I like it when
Songs last a whole year just 6 more weeks then I want
it gone for good
~ Coldplay - Adventure Of A Lifetime is on Hit-Bound
I'm really diggin this song. Just putting that out there.
~ There are still quite a bit of good songs on here
The Hits 1 playlist I'm happy to report overall is pretty
Good right now
~ Decent jump for Demi Lovato - Confident it's not fantastic
But it's good and I'll take that over a huge jump from a
Song like Bad Blood or Can't Feel My Face
~ Daya - Hide Away is still doing really well.
~ Ariana Grande - Focus is on Hit-Bound. This song probably
Could've hit number 1 if it had debuted 2 weeks ago. But it's
Slipping on iTunes and now I doubt it will be as big a hit.
That's all for blurbs thanks guys :)

Album Review #34 One Direction - Made In The A.M.
The fifth and possible final album for British boy band
1D. In my opinion they've changed a lot over the years
They replaced the bubblegum pop with a more mature sound
While, of course, still sticking to the elements that make
Them 1D
anyways let's review
REVIEW TIME
This album is Good. Maybe even great. Almost every song
On this album I enjoyed.
There's not really much I have to say about this one it's Just
Solid. The vocals are great, the lyrics aren't bad. The music
Is pretty catchy.
There's not much in the way of flaws except I didn't really
Care for the song "Olivia"
But other than that very enjoyable album
I'll give it a 9/10

Album Review #33 Ellie Goulding - Delirium
Hey guys welcome to my review of Ellie Goulding's Delirium
This was a highly anticipated album for me
Because I think she has a great voice and her music
So far has been mostly good
REVIEW TIME
When I first heard On My Mind, honestly I thought it
Was a generic, bland, repetitive song. I quickly grew into
It though so I was excited for this album
Unfortunately, this album was almost a complete letdown.
There are three big problems that permiated most of this
album.
1. The Repetition
This album is full of repetitive choruses that really distract
from the lyrical creativity and vocal quality of this album.
I don't mind an averagely repetitive chorus like with most
Pop songs today, but she just goes overboard here.
2. Music Sounding The Same
Majority of the songs on this album is Ellie singing to bland,
generic, and safe pop music. Which at times I've forgave
but it's one of those albums I feel doesn't work having
every song sound the same. Especially having as many as
22 songs on your deluxe version. It makes me feel like you
could probably cut 10 songs off of it and made the other 12
More quality.
3. Max Martin Fail
I heard from a review that Max Martin produced
this album. Which I guess is what I have to pin the blame on
here for the bland,generic,safe production
Max Martin has produced some great albums before
(The Original High, Overexposed ) so it was pretty
disappointing overall
I'd say there was about 5 good songs out of 22
Which is about 2/10 plus one for good Ellie vocals
It gets a very sad 3/10

Album Review #32 Little Mix - Get Weird
Little Mix released their third album yesterday and I'm
Here to review it
It's called Get Weird
Well let's start the review
REVIEW TIME
The album is more of a bubblegum pop record Which
I wouldn't really consider a bad thing, but what I will
consider a bad thing is that the album sounds very basic.
Also the album wasn't really even focused that much
on encouraging people to get weird it was mostly love songs
Which while not bad and yes they do have good voices, the
Music sounds basic, generic and bland at times.
Also it doesn't feel like there's much growth in this band
at all like I don't expect a band like this to write really
romantic love songs but I what I mean by growth is
Making the music better as well
But instead it's just the same generic average pop music
I've heard a million times before with no growth added
There are some positives I will say here
I do like their voices. Some of the songs aren't bad.
In fact some are good. It's just I'm not really a fan
of little mix because they continue to make the same
Bland boring pop music
And I mean it's really a shame they couldn't of spent
Just a little more time making the music better
But instead the album was a letdown. No actually it wasn't
Because I was only expecting the album to be average
And yeah it only met my expectations
Get Weird gets a 4/10

Album Review #31 5 Seconds Of Summer - Sounds Good Feels Good
This is My Review on 5 Seconds Of Summer's Sophomore release,
Sounds Good, Feels Good. I hope you guys enjoy my review
But is this album as good as the title says it is ????
Thats for you to find out
REVIEW TIME
5 Seconds Of Summer is mainly loved by teenage girls
And stuff like that but I believe they really are a different
Kind of band then most in the band
The Album is Good
There are some really good songs here
I Love She's Kinda Hot and Hey Everybody!
They are great singles
What I really like about the album is that the punk/rock
Feel to it which adds energy to the album and keeps it
From sounding bland and makes it easy for you to tell
Them apart
Also I do like the vocals on this album from the soft
Ballads such as Invisible and to more upbeat songs
Like She's Kinda Hot
This album didn't disappoint at all. One of the best
things about 5 Seconds Of Summer is the powerful
vocals mixed with the guitars and everything sounds
Pretty good
Downsides are there was maybe one or two songs I
Didn't care for such as Money but only because they kinda
Sounded the same
But aside from that this is a really good album and I
Recommend it
I'll give it a 9/10

Blurbs
What a string of good songs from #22 to #14
Adam Lambert - Ghost Town should not be dropping
It's so good
Hozier - Someone New is in blue because
It's kinda repetitive and it's a little boring
But he is a good singer I just think
Take Me To Church was better
Taylor Swift - Wildest Dreams is not getting the success
Her earlier 1989 singles did
I hope locked away gets number 1 I doubt it will but
Ex's and Oh's better not
My review on Ex's And Oh's is that it's really mediocre
Her voice is annoying and it's just boring and bad all around

Album Review #30 Adam Lambert - The Original High
Adam Lambert's third album dropped a few months ago
Called The Original High
I'm here to review it and see if it's Adam's "Original High"
Or not
Anyways hope you find this review helpful
REVIEW TIME
THIS ALBUM........well umm is good, but disappointing
Okay so let me start by saying there are definitely
Songs on here that are really good
The Original High is Good
Ghost Town is Amazing
Evil In The Night is Great
Underground is Good
Rumors is Good too
Ghost Town is probably the best track on the album
Because it's just perfectly made great music
Great Vocals and even great lyrics and great music
Unfortunately there are tracks on the album that cannot
Live up to ghost town
I felt that "Another Lonely Night" could've been better as one
Of Adam's Rock songs instead of a Pop one. The beat sounds like
A less interesting version of Ghost Town and it is pretty generic
And I also didn't care for Adam's vocals here.
If you're reviewing the Deluxe edition I'd say the first half of the album
Is the best and the Bonus tracks are on the better side as well
But Another Lonely night and a good portion of the second half
Are kind of forgettable throwaways
They're by no means bad, but if you listened to ghost town
And really loved it, then you will be disappointed
If all the songs were the same quality as Ghost Town
This album would easily be one of the best albums in my
Collection. But unfortunately it's kind of ruined by the quite a
Few forgettable tracks in this album
However this is nowhere near a bad album it's actually
Decent/good ( especially because it has ghost town )
But could be been way better
Once again if it were like Ghost Town it would be a 10/10
But as-is this album gets a very disappointing 7/10
CHANGED REVIEW
THIS ALBUM IS NOW REALLY GOOD
I LOVE THIS ALBUM NOW
IT IS REALLY GOOD
IM GIVING IT A 10/10

Selena Gomez's Same Old Love is a good song

Andy Grammer's Good To Be Alive is just Average to me
It seems like a ripoff of Honey I'm Good and just a
Forgettable song
Blurbs
Ghost Town is still AMAZING
as much as I love Locked Away I gave the purple to Ghost
Town because I listened to it more and love it the same
Elle King - Ex's and Oh's is really mediocre and a little
Annoying but it's okay for now but probably expect it to be
Red soon
Justin Bieber - What Do You Mean? All the sudden became
Stale to me all the sudden
Only a 1 spot jump for Different Colors? OH HELL NAH
There's a decent amount of Good Songs
And quite a few Mediocre songs
And of course some bad ones
And ones that SHOULDN'T EVEN BE HERE
( Talking Body, Thinking Out Loud, Want To Want Me)
Etc.

Album Review #29 Imagine Dragons - Night Visions
I'm a little late on this one, as this album was among the
Most popular and often regarded as the best in 2012 Is the
Debut album from popular alternative band, Imagine Dragons
I'm here to review it. NOTE: I will also Review Smoke & Mirrors
But here is the review for Night Visions
REVIEW TIME
Back in 2013 when I first heard "Radioactive" i never
Decided to check out this group. Until now I went back
Because I liked a few of their other songs.
I'm very glad I did because this album is Great
It's a very unique album mixing Rock with pop sounds and
It sounds amazing
Like it sounds different than most generic 2012 pop on the radio
It sounds like they really tried to knock it out of the park and they
Did there are some songs that are really fantastic ( On Top Of The
World, Tiptoe, America, Radioactive, Demons ) more
There's not really any flaws with this album it's just great overall
Good vocals solid mixing and its very happy uplifting music
It's probably in my top 5 in 2012
Night Visions gets a 10/10

Album Review #28 Demi Lovato - Confident
The New album by Demi Lovato is out ( requested by Leah
Baker)
I'm here to review it
Apparently it's kind of like a more mature album With explicit lyrics
And more mature pop sound
But is that a good thing? You'll have to find out
Review Time
This album is relatively decent
( Review will be somewhat compared to Selena Gomez's
New album )
The album overall is better than Selena Gomez's album, which
I felt was a throwaway
There's some good songs here
The best part about this album is I really like how Demi has that
Loud powerful voice throughout this album that really shows she
Is giving It her all and it also sounds better compared to Selena
Where she just sings quietly and it sounds more monotonous.
But there is a few things I don't like about this album though.
Firstly, I don't really like how in some instances this album
Sounds really similar to everyone else like the Same generic pop
Stuff with a few shining moments here and there.
Also she tries to use some elements of EDM in her music and as much as I love
EDM, it's really generic here and it's better when she sings.
Luckily she sings for most of the album.
Overall Decent album but it could've been a little better 7/10

R. City released a fantastic album the other day
And I put my two favorite on this list ( for now )
Hardwell was on the YouTube 15 with Jenna Marbles
( for those who know ) with the song Follow Me with Jason
Derulo that song is good but I put Birds Fly because I listened
To it more this week and it's a beautiful song Mr. Probz Has a
Great voice
Our new number 1 is a Debut from a person I discovered
Earlier this week
Dillon Francis
The song when we were young is the best song from
"Money Sucks, Friends Rule"
It's Amazing
Blurbs
- A lot of big drops, expect that as a get tired of
Most of the songs I listen to a lot
- also some big jumps expect that a lot too
- Maroon 5 - Not Falling Apart is at number
2 it's one of my favorites on It Won't Be Soon
Before Long but they're all good so expect some
More songs from that album to be on here soon
- Although only two of R. City's Songs made it the rest
Are still good
- Also don't expect a number 1 song to hold for more than a week
I almost guarantee that won't happen often
- As a whole Tiesto's A Town Called Paradise is Average
And inconsistent, but A Town Called Paradise and Red Lights
Are some great songs.
- Alesso's Cool has one of the most catchiest drops in an EDM song
It will take me a while to get sick of that one
- Maroon 5 have a lot of songs on here and I don't want
To feel like I'm filling it up with them so if I don't listen to one of their
Songs I'll drop it
That's it for the blurbs New top 40 list out next weekend

And here it is it's great!
Hozier - Someone New is not better than Take Me To
Church, but it's still good not much to say about it though
Solid track
Panic! At The Disco - Victorious is a good song
It's really unique too!!!!
Blurbs
R. City is at number 5!!!! That song and Ghost town are
About tied for purple but I gave it to R. City because I think
They have the better new album
I'm actually not happy that stitches is number one instead of
Shut up and dance I wanted a new record
Some of these songs I'm sure no one votes for anymore
Look at those streaks of red blue and green
Like there's a lot of streaks of the same color on the
Countdown this week
A few songs on the countdown went from Green to Blue
I don't like doing that but I have to.
Photograph is old it shouldn't be in the top 5

Album Review #27 Selena Gomez - Revival
This album is Selena Gomez' new album
It just released today so I thought I'd reviews
And just so you know next Friday when Demi Lovato's
Confident comes out I'll review that
But nuff said lets get on with the review
REVIEW TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This album honestly is nothing special
There are a few decent/good tracks and a few Mediocre/bad
Tracks as well as most of the album being in the middle
Selena has a very mediocre voice as well, (I know they
Autotune her ) but she comes off as sounding boring
In this album
Another thing is yes I get she's maturing but a lot of her
"New mature songs" are really bland and still annoying
Now this album I don't think is bad ( a few good songs)
It's just really Meh it could have been better
Highlights Kill Em With Kindness Survivors
Good For You Same Old Love
Lowlights Most of the rest of the album
Selena Gomez is just a really mediocre an honestly overrated
Artist
Overall the album is average and lacking in any new or
Creative way it's basically a throwaway
I'll give it a 5/10
If you haven't checked out my review for the new R. City

Album Review #26 R. City - What Dreams Are Made Of
Welcome back to another album review
The new album by R. City Came out today
It features the top 10 hit Locked Away featuring Adam
Levine.
Plus some other Pop/R&B/Rap tunes
I've been waiting for this album since August and
did it disappoint , well you'll have to find out
REVIEW TIME !!!!!
Before I review the album I'll tell you the story of R. City
Okay since Maroon 5 is like my favorite band
I searched Adam Levine because I knew he sang Lost Stars
Solo so I was wondering if he had anymore songs solo
I found "Locked Away" and I loved it
It was a really good tune that I thought would be a hit with
Adam Levine's Name on it
And now it is
I love that song
But do I like the rest of this album ?
I hate to be predictable but, yes
This album is great
There are some amazing songs on the album
It's kind of a mix of pop and rap
It works great
The best song on the album in my opinion is Again
It's an amazing song that will make you feel emotional
And it's just really great
There's also other great tracks like locked away
Checking for you, and like almost every track is great
The title for the album is very fitting too
You can feel the emotional depth in this album
Im glad most of this album is pop not rap because I
Think they're better as a pop group than rap
No major flaws Except slave to the dollar is a little too
Rapish for me it's a good song but probably the weakest on the
Album but I'm not too mad at that
Overall Great 9.5/10

My Thoughts On Mainstream Music / Radio
Welcome to a post I've wanted to do for a while
My thoughts on the word that is evil to some but good to
Others
Mainstream
Now what do I think of this ?
( Note. This will be a lengthy post so stay with me)
When I find an album on iTunes I like to read the reviews
And I like to read the album reviews. Nowdays, people
In the reviews have mentioned on numerous ocasions
About an artist going mainstream
Before I state my opinion on this I will tell you guys who
Don't know what it means.
When an artist goes mainstream they want to get more
Popular often times making their new music very radio-friendly
And changing themselves and their music to become a
More popular artist
Now why is this bad?
When an artist goes mainstream often times ( especially in EDM )
The music they make goes downhill because they are so focused on
Getting a radio hit that they use radio cliches and other things
To get a radio hit .
What really disappoints me about that is music is no longer
Popularized based on how good it is its just based on how big
The artist is in the mainstream.
I mean it seems like most mainstream music just could be better
It's hard to find flawless music with very few artists avoiding
The mainstream
Now it's good to see artists grow and gain popularity as long
As the quality of their music doesn't decline ( mostly EDM dj's
I'm talking about here )
On the radio often you'll often find electronic pop music
Because that's what's selling these days
Often times the vocals are good but the beats are pretty bland
( Not always, but sometimes ) And it really makes you wonder
If the artists get any creative control, ( which they probably don't )
Now I don't think all negative on mainstream there are still some
Positives
There are times I like an artists mainstream music more than
Their original.
Some radio hits are really good.
It's cool to see your favorite artists grow
And some other positives
But overall mainstream has a lot of positives and a lot of negatives
That's my thoughts on mainstream
Top 40 out soon stay tuned
