I Don't Understand The Hate #1 Justin Bieber - What Do You Mean?

hey welcome to a new series on this blog where I talk about
Songs that are getting a lot or quite a bit of hate

Our first song is a song that I still really like

Justin Bieber - What Do You Mean?

Look I think people are giving this song hate where it DOESNT
Deserve

Now I understand some people may not like the song

But if  you read the reviews on iTunes this song is getting to much
hate

Look if you compare this song to Justin's older work like
Baby or his other 15 year old justin songs this song IMO is
Great its more mature and I like the Dance beat

Overall I find it a great track you guys can tell me what you think

Los 5 Came Back but I honestly don't care

Taylor Swift - Wildest Dreams is good
But I'll get sick of it eventually probably

Hailee Steinfield - Love Myself - Is okay but it
is a little annoying

Locked Away is Great

Beautiful Now is great too

Black magic is good but I'm bound to get sick
Of this too

Blurbs

Taylor Swift - Blank Space probably only left because of
the three song rule but I'm glad it did

Centuries left finally but Uma Thurman unfortunately is
way worse

There are a lot of good songs currently on the countdown

WHY IS WALK THE MOON NUMBER 1 AGAIN
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's it for now I'll be back with hit bound soon

Song Review #6 Imagine Dragons - Roots

im gonna keep this review short

This song is okay
It's not the best imagine dragons song
But it's okay

I kinda like the message of the song
You know how they kinda sold out and they're going
Back to their roots

But it's just okay maybe I'll grow into maybe not

I'll give it a 6/10

Upcoming Album: Avicii - Stories

I've known about Avicii since Wake Me Up
But I guess that doesn't mean I knew him from the
beginning because Wake Me Up was probably when he went
Mainstream

But Anyway he's here with a new album that I think might be
A good album the songs available are good so far

Avicii is definitely not the best EDM artist ( just my opinion )
But he could have a hit on his hands

Good luck Avicii and hopefully your album is good

Bye guys :)

Song Review #5 Justin Bieber - What Do You Mean?

Hey guys there is a new justin briber song on the iTunes charts
today and Im here to review it

This song is pretty good

I mean it's a good justin Bieber song

And its fantastic for a Justin Bieber

Way better than his collab with skrillex and diplo
"Where are U now" that song sucked

It's got an energetic pop-Electronic sound and his vocals
Are good and not annoying like they were back then

Not much to say except solid track

I'm gonna give What Do You Mean? A 9/10

Hits 1's room for improvement

Hits 1 is probably like my favorite radio station
But even that station has a problem that I can't stand sometimes
That problem is

SOME SONGS STAY ON THE COUNTDOWN WAY
TOO LONG

what that means is that then the songs from hit-bound
( new songs ) can't make it until something leaves

And it's really irritating but

That's really the only problem I have for now

But if there's a problem I will rant about it
Otherwise not much to say in this post

But I'll be back to post tomorrow

1,000 Pageview Special Post

WELCOME TO MY FIRST SPECIAL POST

THANK YOU GUYS FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT

Now for the special post I don't really have anything special
planned just because I don't have that big of an audience

But for the viewers I do have
Thanks for helping me reach 1,000 PAGEVIEWS

What I would like you guys to do is comment for reviews
Questions anything
Also keep watching my blog for more posts

Thanks you guys are the best

Please 1'd this post and ill be back for another special
post when we hit 5,000 PAGEVIEWS

Album Review #15 The Weeknd - Beauty Behind The Madness

My first review on a brand new album

The album is Beauty Behind The Madness by The Weeknd

The album is technically not out til AUGUST 28 but itunes
Released all the tracks so

Let's review the album

The album has some good songs I like the three hit songs
( Can't Feel My Face The Hills & Earned It )
Also a few others I liked ( the song with Ed Sheeran and Angel)

But this album in my opinion is nothing special, sure it's not
bad but it is kind of a disappointment because I was expecting
Every song to be good and none of the songs are bad
But a lot of this album is so forgettable in my opinion

Yes there are good songs but overall I felt a little disappointed

The album doesn't suck in fact it's actually decent but I just
expected better because I think The Weeknd is a good singer
and could've made some great R&B/ Pop music with
his mainstream transition

But as it stands it's a decent album that could've been better
It's an okay album

I'm gonna give The Weeknd's Beauty Behind The Madness
a 6/10

Album Review #14 David Guetta - Listen

This album is by Calvin Harris's biggest competition in
EDM, David Guetta

And just so you know I will be reviewing "Motion" by
Harris then I'll decide who's EDM album rocked 2014

But now for the Review

This album is pretty decent overall
There are some great songs And the album feels
Like it has a lot of emotion in the lyrics
And yes I think the beats are mainstream but they still are good
They are not bland or cheesy in my opinion

Personally I think the middle of the album is great

Listen with John Legend is an awesome beautiful track
Bang My Head with Sia is Great as well
Yesterday with Bebe Rexha is pretty good
Hey Mama is good

But I think the whole album overall is a pretty decent listening
experience overall it is mainstream and it does have a few duds
But I do believe there are some great songs

And just to be clear I'm not gonna take off because people say
he's a "fake" producer and its More pop than EDM. I judge
Based on what I think of the music

I do think the album will take a few listens for people
But when you get into it it's a good album

I'm gonna give Listen an8/10

Song Review #5 Calvin Harris / Disciples - How Deep Is Your Love

Hi guys welcome back to the fifth song review

Today we're reviewing Calvin Harris' how deep is your love

This song I thought was pretty good. It is different

Disciples has great vocals in the song
and I love the tune Thats what won me over

It's not Calvin Harris's best the drop isn't anything spectacular
But it's solid nontheless

I'm gonna give Harris's How Deep Is Your Love a 8/10

Thanks guys :)

Song Review #4 Afrojack/Mike Taylor -SummerThing!

I'm back with another Afrojack review

Forget The World sucked a lot so it can only get better right?

Well this is the first single that I think is going to be on
Afrojack's second album which hopefully is better than the
First

Now On To the Review

I thought Mike Taylor did a great job with the vocals and
the guitar suited his voice well

And the song is definitely better than anything from
"Forget The World"

However the song has a weak drop Which I expect from
Him, it's not really cheesy or anything like "Forget The World"
It's just weak

The drop is not terrible impute actually kind of catchy
but I just feel it doesn't work in this song it needs a better DJ
to make it an epic song

But as it stands its just an okay song that's got good vocals
but a forgettable drop

I'm gonna give Afrojack's SummerThing! a 7/10

Album Review #13 Calvin Harris - 18 Months

So Calvin Harris made it big with this 2012 album being his third
album. Being his first mainstream album.

If you listen to any station that plays today hit radio
You should know 4 or 5 of these already if you're an avid
Listener

But anyways time for the Review

This album is amazing
I really think this album is amazing and I like every song on
In my opinion it's a great way to do mainstream EDM
correctly none of the songs sound the same and for some
reason Harris has always been a favorite of mine
when it comes to EDM.

I mean there are so many amazing tracks here

And the drops are great too I mean yeah they're mainstream
but still they are great

I don't think I can say there is anything bad about this album

It's great

18 Months gets a 10/10

Definitely best EDM album of 2012 in my opinion

I know most of you wont like this album as much as I can
But it's one of those albums I can't get sick of

Thanks for reading my blog and please comment
an album you would like me to review

Thanks πŸ‘

Album Review #12 Zedd - True Colors

Welcome back To the next blog post
And yeah Just so you guys know I have school
So I most likely won't be able to post
On Monday-FRIDAY from 8am-4pm EST

Anyway were here with an album by Zedd
 His second album in fact

Which has his second song "Beautiful Now"
on Hit-Bound and hopefully that makes it

Also his hit from 6 months ago "I Want You To Know"
When I first heard it I thought, CMON Zedd you can
do better, but the song still had that Zedd charm that
Hooked me and yeah I genuinely like it

Now for the Review

I think this is a great album overall
There's not a single bad track on there

The album may not have my two favorite Zedd songs ( I'll get to
those when I review Clarity ), but still this album
Is pretty good

I thought most of the time that it still felt like Zedd and not
a sell-out version of Zedd ( take notes Afrojack ) and
the vocals were pretty good and most of the EDM was decent

I thought the album was focusing more on being emotional
Rather than Dancable which I know some DIDNT like and
Was like he sold out. But I actually didn't mind
BECUASE there were some uptempo tracks so it wasn't boring
with just slow songs

Only a couple of flaws on the album
1. Some of the EDM felt a little rushed
For Example on Straight Into The Fire
The EDM was alright but could've been better

2. Sounds too much like clarity
This isn't too much of a problem and I won't take off points
for this but it does sound like the same sound from clarity

But the collabs were great and there were some great
emotional songs like True Colors

Overall this is a great album which I highly recommend

I'm gonna give Zedd's True Colors a 9/10

Album Review #11 Tiesto - A Town Called Paradise

before I begin this review I want to let you know why I'm
Reviewing so many old albums
Well it's because I want you to know my opinion on them

Anyway I'm reviewing Tiesto's rather disappointing effort
"A Town Called Paradise"

I'm not saying it's a disappointment yet but the critics on iTunes
Say it is, with most of them saying it's too pop

Now I'm going to be fair and I'm not gonna judge it for being
Pop-EDM I'm going to judge it for it's quality.

Review Time

I've actually never heard of Tiesto until his radio hit "Wasted"
Back in 2014 and at first I thought it sucked but now I like it.

And theres a few other good tracks.

But unfortunately this album is not that great most of the songs
sound very generic and the whole thing kinda sounds like David
Guetta's sound

Some of the songs are good but overall I found this album very
forgettable and kinda generic

Red Lights was pretty good and I also like A Town Called
Paradise after that I liked 2 other songs but that was about it

This album is not terrible and not as bad as anything like
"Forget The World" but it's not that good

Overall it could have been great but it's not
Weak and generic 5/10

Album Review #10 Carly Rae Jepsen - E•MO•TION

Ah, the call me maybe girl as some still call her. Well she's
not anymore in this album is what some are saying.

Her Sophomore album tries to be mature and I believe it's
more mature but still seems like young people could
like it

Now for the review

So I was actually presently surprised with most of this album
This album is pretty good

I thought this album was gonna suck because I wasn't really
a fan of the annoying "I Really Like You"

But the rest of the album is not really annoying at all to me.
In fact there are some great songs on here

My favorites are
Runaway with me
E•MO•TION
Favorite Colours

Most of this album is great and seems a bit more mature with
the lyrics but still keeps the Carly charm with the blissful pop
Sound

The only flaw is that a few of the songs I didn't like
Such as "I Really Like You"

But that's Not too big of a problem
Overall this is a good album

I'm gonna give Carly Rae Jepsen's E•MO•TION a 9/10

Album Review #9 Alesso - Forever

Hey guys welcome to my review on the recent release from
EDM DJ Alesso

If you guys are not aware my last EDM album review
was forget the world by Afrojack just a reminder to check
out that review

Anyway now for my review

Well from what I could tell Alesso was probably going
Mainstream as that is a trend for DJs that release a full
Album

Well overall I like this album. I think it is WAY better
Than "Forget The World"

The collabs were better and the EDM was

There are some really great tracks in here like
"Sweet Escape" "Cool" "If It Wasn't For You"
And "Destinations"

Before we get to the rating I will say I rated this album 5
Stars on iTunes. The way I rate things on iTunes has
NOTHING to do with the way I rate things here
And I'll do a post on that sometime

Also before we get to the rating there are some flaws I have
With this album.
Although I think over half of the songs are good/great
There are some songs I just cant get into
Like
All This Love
And a couple others I don't really care for honestly

This album could've been perfect but there are some
Songs I cant get into. This album is by no means a
Disappointment. Whatever I rate this album i will still
Like it, because there are some truly great songs here
That deserve my points

It feels like there is some filler on this album as well
Like "PAYDAY" "Immortale" and "Profondo"

Overall mostly good but with a little more time spent
on some of the tracks it could be best of the year

So I'm gonna give Alesso's Forever a 8/10

Thanks for reading guys

Upcoming Albums as of 8/24/2015

Hey guys I'm constantly watching iTunes for preorders of albums
To see what's coming up soon and here are some
upcoming albums im planning to review

Disclosure - Caracal - I can almost guarantee this album will
be great. Disclosure is awesome
Expected: 9/25/2015

The Weeknd - Beauty Behind The Madness
This album im not sure about hopefully it's good because
The weeknd has good vocals.
Expected: 8/28/2015

Lana Del Rey - Honeymoon
I think she's okay the only song I've heard from her is
Summertime Sadness and it was okay
So I'm expecting this album to be okay
Expected: 9/18/2015

Charlie Puth - Nine Track Mind
This album should be good I've heard a few of the songs
and the are pretty good

Jess Glynne - I Cry When I Laugh
I think this one should be good
She has a nice voice and I like the beats

Album Review #8 Life Of Dillon - Prologue - EP

This album is by a band that I started following 6 months ago
When they released "Overload".

This is my first review on an EP but who cares.

This is a completely real and relatable band they are good
People and the music is really good It's a mix of
Folk and pop and dance

The only flaw with this album is the songs get old quickly to
Me but that's not too big of a problem

My favorite tracks are
Overload, Dreams, and Toys

Overall Great Album9.5/10

Song Review #3 Omi - Cheerleader

hey guys and welcome to my review of Cheerleader by Omi

My opinion of this song has changed over time.
At first I thought it was okay except when he sings
the chorus.

The song was always kind of annoying before it was a hit
Now it's worse because it's annoying and overrated

It's bland lame annoying and the lyrics suck.

I used to think it was okay but then I thouht it sucked and
Yep it sucks, and it's getting old

So I'm gonna give omi's "Cheerleader" a 3/10

Album Review #7 Maroon 5 - V

Hey guys welcome back to my album reviews

Today we get the last maroon 5 album overwith so
I can review other things

Maroon 5 V ( 2014-15 )

So in my opinion it's a mix of everything they've done
Like a mix of SAJ, IWBSBL, HAO, and Overexposed

The first say is the hit songs on this album are great
Maps is catchy Animals is just great Sugar is catchy
And This Summer's Gonna Hurt is amazing. Their new
Song, "Feelings" is great too.

There are also some non-single songs on the album that
Are great like It Was Always You and My Heart Is Open

The Bonus Tracks overall are decent
Shoot Love is good
Sex and candy is alright
And I really like Lost Stars

The only problem with this album is because it's a mix of
Everything they've ever done, it doesn't feel very innovative,
Creative, or special. Now that's not to say this album isn't good
Because it is. I think this album is great. But some of the songs
Just don't feel that special and feel like fillers at times, but that's
Not that Big of a problem

Overall great album with some great songs and
I'm gonna give Maroon 5's "V" a 9/10

Song Review #2 - Robin Thicke/ Nicki Minaj - Back Together

So this morning on hits 1 I heard "Back Together"
And Its by Robin Thicke and Nicki Minaj ( both
artists did not have a good history with me )

Before I review the song I want to talk a little
About my opinion of Robin and Nicki

Robin is alright he's not great

And Nicki's rapping sucks so I don't really care for either of
These people

Song Review: This song was a huge surprise
This is a great song. It sounds kinda like Olly Murs' song
"Wrapped Up" but It doesn't sound exactly a lot

Robin's vocals are great. He adds a lot to this track. In fact
This is probably my favorite song from him because
Blurred lines and this song are all Ive heard from him.

There is one flaw with this song though. NICKI MINAJ
Sure she's a mainstream rapper that fits with his
Mainstream status but seriously NICKI MINAJ.
Dude I know that will get your song popular and all but
CMON dude get like a pop vocalist to make it a beautiful
Song not a rapper

But I can forgive most of this because her part is kept short
and its not the worst nicki rap ever

Overall Robin really killed it here but I will take off a point
for Nicki

I'm gonna give Robin's "Back Together" a 9/10

Album Review #6 Maroon 5 - Hands All Over

You're probably wondering why im reviewing maroon 5
a lot and it's for a reason YOULL find out later in this video

Today I'm Reviewing the third album from Maroon 5
"Hands All Over"

So this album in my opinion is different from the previous
two. It kinda sounds like maroon 5 wants to step up their game
And sounds like a more mature sound.

As Usual, there are some great songs here
Misery is a great song
Don't Know Nothing is Great
And there are some others that I think are good

Honestly guys this is my least favorite maroon 5 album
Although most of the songs are good they just sound kinda
Forgettable

And that's probably the album's only flaw. Other than that
Yes it's still a good album and yes I like it a lot but Yeah it is a
Little flawed

Overall Pretty Good

I'm Gonna Give Maroon 5's Hands All Over an8.5/10

Album Review #5 Maroon 5 - It Won't Be Soon Before Long

Hey Guys and welcome to yet another Album Review

And this is my review on Maroon 5's 2007 sophomore
Release, "It Won't Be Soon Before Long"

So this album, in my opinion sounds similar and different

Similarities: it has a pop-rock feel like SAJ

Differences: The songs have a different vibe And there are more
Upbeat songs rather than SAJ which is more Soulful and bluesy.

But that's besides the point

This album has some really great songs by Maroon 5

My Favorites were
If I Never See Your Face Again
Not Falling Apart
Makes Me Wonder

This album I must say is really good it has a great classic
Maroon 5 quality vibe similar to what the first album had

The vocals are also great as well.

Something that makes this album different than SAJ is that
You can notice pop sounds throughout the album, and I can
get how to some that may sound like there heading in a
dark direction, but honestly I think the Pop sounds fit really
Well with the music. And there is still many guitar sounds in
There too.

I'll also say the faster/regular tempo songs are better than the
Slow songs

Nothing Lasts Forever is a good song

Back At Your Door is alright

And Goodnight Goodnight is okay

Overall it's a great album and has some fantastic songs on
It

So I'm gonna give It Won't Be Soon Before Long a10/10

Hope you enjoyed the review and I'll be back with a new post
Soon
Bye :)

Album Review #4 Maroon 5 - Songs About Jane

Welcome to my review on Maroon 5's Debut album
Songs About Jane ( 2002 )

Okay youre probably wondering why I reviewed
Overexposed before this and it's because I listened to
That first.

Anyway

ON TO THE REVIEW

I'm not even gonna try to hide it

I think this is a phenomenal album.

Because of the amazing pop-rock tunes and quality
Catchy riffs

It's not only beautiful it's meaningful too

It's so good that I actually can't find much to say about it

The vocals are spot on and there are no flaws with this
Album

I'm gonna give songs about Jane a 10/10

Hit-Bound 8/22-23, 2015

Welcome to my first hit-bound review

I'll just review the songs

R. City/ Adam Levine - Locked Away
Meghan Trainor/ John Legend - Like I'm Gonna Lose You
Icona Pop - Emergency
Nico & Vinz/ Bebe Rexha - That's How You Know
X Ambassadors - Renegades
Little Mix - Black Magic
Shy Carter - Bring It Back
Hailee Steinfield - Love Myself
Carly Rae Jepsen - Run Away With Me
Alessia Cara - Here
Maroon 5 - Feelings
Zedd/Jon Bellion - Beautiful Now
A Great Big World - Hold Each Other
Jason Derulo - Cheyenne

• Icona Pop - Emergency is
bland and annoying and I
Hope it doesn't debut

• Hailee Steinfield - Love Myself
Is okay but If it gets overplayed It'll
Get annoying

• Zedd/ Jon Bellion - Beautiful Now
is a great song it SHOULD DEBUT

That's about it the rest is good and I don't have
Much to say this week

See ya :)

Song Review #1 Silento - Watch Me ( Whip / Nae Nae )

So what do I think of one of the biggest hit songs of 2015
Well first let me say that the song has been getting
MANY bad reviews on iTunes. People saying
"WORST SONG EVER" or something.

So what do I think?

I think the song is pretty bland and it can get annoying at
Times with the reptitive lyrics

But IMO I think people are freaking out too much about this
Song it's not that bad

But im also not defending it either I could see a few people
Think it's the worst song ever.

But it's not that bad. But I DONT like it

I'm gonna give Silento's Watch Me a 3/10

Personally I think it's a cool dance song. But because it's a
Mainstream hit song, I have to rate it based on what I
Think of It quality-wise.

It's just too bland for me to enjoy

Hope you enjoyed the post. another review and possibly
Hitbound coming soon

Album Review #3 Taylor Swift - 1989

Ah, the album that's stayed in the top 10 now for almost
a year. Taylor Swift's 1989.
So is the album deserving of the number 1 spot? Or is it highly
Overrated.

Well the album has 4 big hit songs
Shake It Off
Blank Space
Style
And Bad Blood

Before I review the album I want to say that her last album
"Red" has some pretty awful songs on it

So what do I think of the album "1989" it's okay

The songs can be really catchy and it's definitely less
Annoying than "Red" BUT the songs get old pretty fast
And after having heard the four main songs so many times
You don't want to hear them anymore

All that aside the album is average

Nothing that bad but nothing that good

I'm going to give Taylor Swift's "1989" a 5/10

Album Review #2 Afrojack - Forget The World

Back in 2014 i bought the single by Wrabel called ten feet tall
A few months later on the radio ( not hits 1 )  the same song
But with Afrojack and I listened to it and the EDM on the song
Completely ruined the beautiful song. So after that song was
Off the radio. I almost decided to move on. But then I checked
His album "Forget The World" on iTunes to check the reviews
And the second review said the songs have lack luster drops
I thought to myself. "They can't all be bad" But you know what

THEY ALL ARE!!!!!

Okay on the reviews I saw a lot of positive reviews and a
Handful of negative ones
I personally think this album is a bad one because each
Song is either mediocre or it just sucks

The worst part by far is the drops. They're cheesy lame and
Generic.

Most of the songs sound the same and the drops sound like
He just wants to make money.

I don't like this album 2/10

Album Review #1 Maroon 5 - Overexposed

Hello Welcome Back to my Blog. On this blog I will be
reviewing albums. Some new some old it just depends on
What I happen to stumble across

Today's Album is Maroon 5's Overexposed ( 2012 )

The fourth album from American pop-rock band Maroon 5
It's described by them as their poppiest album so it is more pop
Than rock. But is it good, well let's review it.

It starts off with One More Night which I think is a great song
Great combo of their old and new sounds
Rating: Good Song

Next is Payphone I really like this song it's catchy and
Has a great beat
Rating: Good Song

Next: Daylight its a great slow Pop song
i really like it
Rating:Good Song

Next Lucky Strike I find this a great pop track that has a
Catchy dance beat and a cool pop-rock riff.
Rating:Good Song

The Man Who Never Lied is a Song that is lacking in
Lyrics and is another song ( like daylight ) that goes
Woah woah a lot, but it's still a great song
Rating:Good Song

Love somebody has a great pop dance beat
That is sure to make you want to sing
Rating Good Song

Ladykiller has a catchy chorus and a nice riff in the
Middle, it's not overexposed's best but it's a good song
Rating:Good Song

Fortune Teller has an amazing chorus and a great
Beat an is overall a very interesting track
Rating Good Song

Sad is a sad song that is very sad but makes me happy because
It's really good
 Rating  Good Song

Tickets is one of the most danceable tracks on the album
With a great beat
Rating Good Song

Doin Dirt has a very discoesque vibe but it's good
Rating Good Song

Beautiful Goodbye is a slower song that is "more beautiful"
It's a good song I like the " bye bye bye bye " parts
RatingGood Song

Deluxe Tracks

Wipe Your Eyes A great and strange midtempo Track
RatingGood Song

Wasted Years is good too Good Song

Let's Stay Together is pretty Good too

The album is Good

And The last track is One More Night Sticky K Remix
Which Doesn't need a review its good

Overall it's an amazing album
I'm gonna give Overexposed a 10/10

Hope you enjoyed my review
